Over the past season, our beautiful corner of Nopiming Provincial Park faced one of the toughest challenges in its history. Wildfires swept through the forest, leaving scars on the land we love and changing the landscape in ways that were hard to watch. Like many of you, we felt the weight of uncertainty, loss, and heartbreak.

But here’s the truth Mother Nature keeps teaching us —the forest is resilient, and so are we.

Today, we are proud to say that Windsock Lodge is open, alive, and healing.

New green growth is already breaking through the forest floor. Saplings are reaching toward the sky. The wildlife has returned. The lake remains as clear, quiet, and powerful as ever. There is a deep sense of renewal out here — and it reminds us that nature always finds its way back.

This season, we are welcoming our guests home again.Hunters, anglers, adventurers, and families — the wilderness is still here for you.

  • The fishing remains world-class

  • The sunsets are still breathtaking

  • The peace, the quiet, the grounding calm — unchanged

If anything, this land feels more meaningful than ever.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who stood by us, checked in, prayed for rain, and supported our family and our lodge through difficult months. Your belief in us helped carry us forward.

Now it’s our turn to welcome you back.

Come breathe the northern air. Come see the new life returning to the forest. Come experience the strength and spirit of this land.
